Short Review of The Shoes That Mikal Wears -Nike Basketball Shoes
As we have already mentioned, Mikal has frequently worn Nike KD 11, 12, 13, Kobe A.D., Kobe A.D. Mid, Kobe 6, and PG 6. We’ll briefly review some of his favorite shoes.

- Nike PG 6
Nike PG 6 sports a stylish and breathable upper. With a responsive cushioning system, the shoe feels like walking on clouds. Nike calls their lightweight, spongy, durable foam the Nike React technology.
Another aspect of this shoe is the impeccable multi-directional traction. Combined with the secure lacing and forefoot strap system, you’ll be in full control the whole time.
The shoe itself is a work of art. Colorful upper with perfect stitches with no overlays, make for the chicest look.
- Nike Kobe 6
The Kobe 6 is one of the most popular shoes in the league. Athletes like Buddy Hield, Domantas Sabonis, Saddiq Bey, and Torrey Craig wore them to more than 150 of their games. That’s insane!
Kobe 6 comes with a textile and mesh upper. It’s breathable with a snug fit. The cushioning is next-level with the forefront containing Zoom Turbo. The foam used in this model is Cushlon, which feels more responsive and supportive than Kobe 5.
It also offers great traction, especially in indoor courts but also in outdoor settings. You can expect great stability and impact protection.
- Nike Kobe AD
While not as great as the KD 13 when it comes to cushioning, the shoe has a breathable upper, a stylish design, and decent traction.
Athletes like Jae Crowder and Ish Wainright wore it for more than 70 games. That’s because these shoes are great when it comes to performance and because of their true-to-size fit, you’re always comfortable.
However, Kobe AD is the most underwhelming Kobe shoe to date. You’ll be better off with Kobe 6 or any other shoes in the series. For the price you pay, the performance and feel of Kobe AD can be much better.
- Nike KD 13
If you’re wondering about Mikal Bridges’ yellow shoes that he wears so often, they’re Nike KD 13.
The upper is stitched to the Nike Air Zoom cushion. This shoe features a full-length, heel-to-toe cushioning system that transitions smoothly like butter. Over this layer, there’s a second layer of Zoom cushioning.
It doesn’t get more comfortable than this. The best part is that the padding conforms to the shape of your feet. These shoes feel like they are already broken in due to the flexible, soft, and lightweight feel.
The performance of these shoes is impeccable and you get responsiveness like no other.
